A. Parker Smith, MD was a member of the Wayne County Amateur Radio Association in Goldsboro, NC. On the air he was known as “Doc”. He was quite active in the Wayne County Amateur Radio Association from the late 1950’s throughout the early 1980’s, serving as the president in the early 1960’s. He passed away in the Spring of 2003.
