Eugene Judd (W4PES)

Eugene Judd was born in Stockport, Ohio on December 10, 1921 to the late Delmar K. Judd ad Helen G. Corner Judd.

Eugene was a veteran of the United States Army Air Corp and served with the 486th Bomb Group during World War II. He retired from the Naval Research Laboratory in Washington, D.C., and was a member of the Air National Guard of D.C. Eugene was also served in the United States Air Force Reserves.

Eugene was a member of the Wayne County Amateur Radio Association in Goldsboro, NC as well as the Rappahannock Valley Amateur Radio Club in Fredericksburg, Virginia. He was a member of the DAV, the American Legion, and Masonic Lodge #4 in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Eugene was also a member of Brogden United Method Church and was a former longtime member of Fletcher’s Chapel Methodist Church in King George, Virginia.

Eugene passed away on June 12, 2010.
