Joseph Uzzell Thompson was born in Wayne County, NC to the late Mr. and Mrs. Milton C. Thompson.
Joseph was a former Goldsboro merchant and a retired employee of General Electric. He was a member of the Wayne County Amateur Radio Association in Goldsboro, NC as well as a member of the Goldsboro Rescue Squad. Joseph passed away in July, 1991.
