Field Day is part educational event, part operating event, part public relations event – and ALL about FUN!
2024 standings – Tri-Club, N4C, first in division, first in state, 12th in the nation for 5A, now that is an outstanding score.
Field Day is always the fourth full weekend of June, beginning at 1800 UTC Saturday and running through 2059 UTC Sunday. Field Day 2025 is June 28-29.
Objective – To work as many stations as possible on any and all amateur bands (excluding the 60, 30, 17, and 12-meter bands) and to learn to operate in abnormal situations in less than optimal conditions. Field Day is open to all amateurs in the areas covered by the ARRL/RAC Field Organizations and countries within IARU Region 2. DX stations residing in other regions may be contacted for credit, but are not eligible to submit entries
Field Day Site Locator-Find a Field Day site near you or input your site to share with others. The WCARA will hold a join Field Day event with participation from the Kinston Amateur Radio Society as well as the Sampson County Amateur Radio Services.
Again this year we will be located at Greg Clark’s, KM4NDO, place. 2104 Salem Church Rd, Goldsboro, NC 27530.
