James S. Peacock was born in Wayne County, NC to the late James C. Peacock Sr., and Ida Mae Perkins Peacock.
James was retired from Sears & Roebuck after 25 years of service. He was a member of Salem United Methodist Church where he served as Sunday School Superintendent for several years.
James was a member of the Wayne County Amateur Radio Association in Goldsboro, NC. He was Past Master of the Goldsboro Masonic Lodge #634, a member of the Sudan Temple and the Sudan Temple Wrecking Crew as well a charter member and past president of the Golden K Kiwanis.
James passed away on January 16, 2004.
