George was born in Wayne County, North Carolina on March 2, 1937 to the late James Clifton Peacock Jr. and Thelma Seymour Peacock. George worked as a radio design engineer and later worked in electronic sales. In his early years of life George served in the Army National Guard.
George was a member of the Wayne County Amateur Radio Association in Goldsboro, NC. He was also a member of the Millbrook Lodge #97 A.F. and A.M. and of Salem United Methodist Church. George passed away on January 31, 2016.
